The ½ day professional Manicure Course will cover correct nail care of the hands, including filing, shaping, cuticle work and relevant massage as well as aftercare advice, recognising skin and nail diseases and disorders infectious diseases and how to polish the nail properly both with regular colours and in French finish.
Manicure Course Content
Requirements, code of ethics and conduct, hygiene, PPE, structure of the skin, function of the skin, bones of the hand, nail anatomy, introduction to manicure, client consultation, medical conditions, nail disorders, nail shapes, step by step treatment, aftercare, full colour polish, French polish and health and safety.
A course pre-read will be emailed to you, this must be read before course date. There is no need to print the pre-read as one will be issued to you at the start of the course.
Students work on each other.
STUDENT INSURANCE REQUIRED BEFORE ATTENDING COURSE
The ½ -day training consists of both theory and practical elements although most of the theory will be done prior to the course date giving more hands-on practice time in the classroom. After successfully completing the course you are issued with a certificate of achievement accredited by ABT which will enable you to obtain the insurance required to offer your new skill to clients. We aim to provide high quality training with post course support at an affordable cost to benefit you and your business!
If you are unable to attend the Manicure training course on the date booked you must let us know a minimum of 14 days before the course date or your payment will not be refunded.
