On our Lash & Brow Tinting and Brow Waxing Course you will learn to tint the lashes and a range of brow-grooming procedures, including waxing, tinting, tweezing, trimming and brow design. Combining each of the treatments can transform even the worst natural eyebrows into the perfect shape enhancing the eyes and balancing facial features.

Students are required to work on 2 models on the day.

Course structure

This course is structured over one day and runs from 10 am – 3 pm (course times can run over). We ask students to arrive at 9.45 am to ensure a prompt start. You will learn the theory of the treatment firstly and spend most of the day practising your practical skills, with a short break for lunch. Tea, coffee and water are provided during the day, you can bring cold food light lunch.

Course Content

Introduction to eyebrow waxing & tinting & lash tinting, advantages and disadvantages, consultation, aftercare, patch testing procedure, code of ethics, hygiene, PPE, skin anatomy, hair anatomy, product knowledge, medical conditions affecting treatment, lash tinting, brow design, brow tinting, tweezing, waxing, trimming, work on live model.

Requirements

Students work on each other for the Lash & Brow Tinting and Brow Waxing Course, allow at least 4 weeks hair growth in all areas to be waxed. Please ensure you have done a patch test 48 hours prior to the course date to ensure you have no contra-indications to the treatment. Should you not be able to have the treatment due to medical reasons, please let us know and arrange to bring a model.

Students insurance can be obtained from ABT (01789773573)  this will cover you from the course date until you have qualified. We will issue you with a discount code when you book the course.

Students must be 18 years of age or older before the start date of the course.

A course pre-read will be emailed to you, this must be read before course date.

Ability to use and comprehend spoken and written English.

After Training

The 1-day training consists of both theory and practical elements. After attending the training, you will be required to practice the techniques you have learned and successfully complete 2 post course assignments before you are issued with a Lash & Brow Tinting and Brow Waxing Diploma accredited by ABT which will enable you to obtain the insurance required to offer your new skill to clients. We aim to provide high-quality training with 6-month post-course support at an affordable cost to benefit you and your business!

If you are unable to attend the training course on the date booked you must let us know a minimum of 10 days before the course date or your payment will not be refunded
